  • Is there parking at or near the Sunsphere?
    The client has access to a parking space under Clinch Avenue bridge near the base of the Sunsphere. All guests are recommended to park at Locust Street Garage, 540 Locust Street. Enter garage from Locust St or Walnut Street Free parking weeknights when entering after 6pm. Free parking all weekend. Hourly: $1/hour, $7 max/day
  • What does setup & breakdown mean?
    "Set up & break down" time simply means your group’s own personal decor/belongings as well as any vendors. Our staff will have the tables and chairs in place and ready at the time of your load in, and will break down said tables and chairs after your event. We can provide linens for you at $17 per linen and $1.50 per napkinfor black, white, or ivory. Any other color of linen and/or napkin will be $20 per linen and/or $2.00 per napkin.
  • Are outside food vendors or guest provided catering allowed?
    We allow caterers from the below approved list if Rosa’s Catering is booked. An outside catering fee of $1,000.00 will be due if Rosa’s Catering is available on the requested date. Our sister company and in-house caterer, Rosa’s Catering, can provide all food, non-alcoholic beverages, and cash bar services. Venue Works, LLC 7800 Shadowood Drive, Knoxville, TN 37938 must be named as additionally insured on the policy with a minimum of $1,000,000.00 AGGREGATE and $1,000,000.00 for each occurrence at least 4 weeks to the event date.
  • Can we add on time to our rental?
    Additional event time can be added for $375.00/hr. Additional setup/teardown time may be added for $65.00/hr., but must be scheduled at least 14 business days prior to your event.
  • How long is an event rental?
    Rentals are quoted for a three hours event time. One to two hours are provided prior to the event time for set up. Thirty minutes to an hour is provided after event time for teardown.
  • Who schedules uniformed officers if needed?
    Uniformed officers are scheduled for events by Sunsphere Events at $300 per officer with a minimum of 3 officers with 150 or more guests.
  • DJ Service Guidelines
    All DJ’s must bring their own table, table linen, and equipment. FOG MACHINES ARE NOT ALLOWED!
